Our No Rush Plan to Tier 3 Seats

Our Strategic No Rush Plan with Safety First

Dear Aqui Community,

As you may have heard Santa Clara County has approved Tier 3 opening, which includes 25% of capacity indoor restaurant seats. At Aqui we’ve decided NOT to rush into immediate indoor seats for the safety of our staff and customers.

Our plan is to phase in indoor table seats by early Spring. During this period, we’ll be developing safety strategies, per store location, so that indoor seats, patio seats, online/phone order pickup and in store ordering for take-out can all co-exist safely. This includes updating our floor plans for common seating areas and redesigning seating arrangements to ensure at least six feet separations between table setups. Provided in ways that will limit party sizes at tables to no more than the established “maximums approved” as recommended by CDC or approved by local and state government.

In the beginning phase of indoor seats we will continue with our to-go containers and slowly move into plating and glassware. Because people must remove face coverings to eat and drink, we must take extra precautions to reduce the risk of covid-19 transmission in providing indoor dining service to customers.

We will be continuing our online ordering, phone order and order at the counter services uninterrupted. Our patio seats will remain open and continue to run on a first-come, self-seating basis.
