New SCC Mandatory Capacity Limitations

New SCC Mandatory Capacity Limitations Prohibits Indoor Waiting

December 3, 2020

Dear Aqui Community,

Mandatory Directive on Capacity Limitations and what it means to Aqui Customers

Santa Clara County Public Health has issued a Mandatory Directive on Capacity Limitations on November 30th, 2020. This is a mandatory requirement to reduce this risk of COVID-19, especially indoors where transmission is most dangerous. What does this mean? To simplify Aqui and other restaurants are prohibited from having customers wait for their takeout INSIDE the facility. All waiting will occur outside at least 6 feet apart from others. Also, maximum outdoor service is limited to 100 people. UPDATE: Santa Clara County has updated guidelines removing outdoor dining until Jan 4.

Ordering from Aqui

We are strongly recommending our takeout customers order ahead online from our website. When you arrive at Aqui, if any waiting is necessary, it will be done so outside with social distancing and masks worn appropriately. Phone orders are still available. Order at the counter is still available but limited and all waiting will be done outside the facility in a separate area from our online/phone order area.

Aqui will be following the mandate to the letter. Thank you for your understanding.
