Our Aqui location at Waterford Plaza is now closed permanently.
We’ve been honored to serve this community since February 2019. While enjoying success at this location, we now find that it is important to accept that Aqui will be best served by having just the original 4 restaurants in the greater San Jose Area. Weird, but true! We remain ready and excited to welcome you at our 4 other nearby Aqui locations!

Back in 2019, we opened Waterford Plaza believing we would lose our Blossom Valley location…As fate would have it, right when Waterford opened, we secured a long-term extension for Blossom Valley (just 2.9mi apart). This created an interesting challenge…
Every single person working at Waterford Plaza will have a position at either Blossom Valley, Willow Glen, Campbell or Cupertino.
We’re planning to seek a new location near Capitol and Tully Road, which will help us reach entirely new neighborhoods.

Why This Makes Sense for Our Future
Back in 2019, we opened Waterford Plaza believing we would lose our Blossom Valley location. As fate would have it, right when Waterford opened, we secured a long-term extension for Blossom Valley. This created an interesting challenge – our locations in Willow Glen, Waterford, and Blossom Valley ended up being too close together, essentially sharing customers rather than reaching new communities.

This isn’t just about closing a location – it’s about smart growth. We’re planning to seek a new location near Capitol and Tully Road, which will help us reach entirely new neighborhoods. Think about it: we’ll be able to bring Aqui’s authentic flavors and experience to communities that currently have to drive too far to reach us. This is about expanding our family, not shrinking it.

We’re actually expanding our reach – we’re looking at opening a new location near Capitol and Tully Road to bring Aqui to more neighborhoods.
